Caffeine can cause depression. If you feel depressed or unhappy, I strongly recommend you to get rid of caffeine in your diet, including any tea or coffee. I experimented this – I stopped drinking caffeinated drinks for more than 4 months. It’s definitely done me good. I feel less stressed, happier and more in control of my emotions. Friends have commented that I looked happier. I do feel more at ease in many situations that used to be very stressful. Now I feel I am more of myself. Occasionally I still get dragged down by negative thoughts. But I soon get back my control and feel alright. Another thing is I use nature immersion therapy. Whenever I feel stressful, I go somewhere with plants and open air. That makes me feel alright. I wasn’t able to do this, not even walk into my own garden because I was so fixated on getting as much work done as possible. However, one does need to rest in order to perform well, or to increase productivity. So now I build in breaks to help myself feel alright. These are just something I want to share. If you’re feeling depressed, please try getting rid of caffeine entirely. It definitely will do good.
